FREEDOM! That is the awesome result of following God's Word to the edge of personal humility. Pastor Phil and I met today and prayed together asking the Lord to bring a spirit of reconciliation among the churches of Osoyoos.We spent some time looking at II Corinthians 5:17-19. I like the way the Message Bible puts it... "...anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, they are created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and Him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other... We are Christ's representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God's work of making things right between them."
When I got home from the office today I called Pastor Jim (new pastor for OCC) and left a message welcoming him to Osoyoos and inviting him to get together for lunch. Please pray with us as we are trying to be more and more like our savior. Be blessed!
